Il a \u00e9galement mis en \u00e9vidence le fait qu\u2019un usage de nos m\u00e9canismes non adapt\u00e9 aux principes de leur fonctionnement naturel, tout en constituant un obstacle plus ou moins important vis-\u00e0-vis de l\u2019ex\u00e9cution correcte de l\u2019activit\u00e9 concern\u00e9e et de l\u2019obtention de l\u2019objectif d\u00e9sir\u00e9, interf\u00e8re avec ce fonctionnement naturel, exerce une influence n\u00e9faste et permanente sur les organes constituant ces m\u00e9canismes, et finit par engendrer, sur le long terme, toutes sortes de d\u00e9formations et maladies chroniques, et en fin de compte, des vies qui auraient pu \u00eatre plus r\u00e9ussies.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019usage de soi est une donn\u00e9e sous-jacente \u00e0 l\u2019existence. Presque insaisissable bien qu\u2019omnipr\u00e9sent, il se d\u00e9veloppe en fonction de notre environnement socioculturel, de notre v\u00e9cu, de notre \u00e9ducation, de notre profession, de certaines pr\u00e9dispositions\u2026 Il se situe \u00e0 un niveau global : jamais purement mental, jamais purement physique. On ne peut le modifier directement : cela reviendrait \u00e0 cultiver les proc\u00e9dures m\u00eames que l\u2019on souhaite changer !! En fait, il ne peut y avoir de v\u00e9ritable changement de l\u2019usage de soi sans un changement correspondant de la personne, non seulement dans ses attitudes mentales et physiques les plus fondamentales, mais aussi dans la clart\u00e9 de la perception qu\u2019elle a d\u2019elle-m\u00eame. En travaillant sur nos habitudes corporelles, la Technique FM Alexander permet de prendre conscience de sch\u00e9mas d\u2019utilisation de plus en plus nombreux, et par cons\u00e9quent, de d\u00e9velopper notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler nos r\u00e9actions psycho-physiques aux diverses circonstances de la vie, que les stimuli proviennent de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur ou de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur de l\u2019individu.<\/p>\n<p>Il est commun\u00e9ment admis que, sur le long terme, les d\u00e9cisions et les choix d\u2019apr\u00e8s lesquels nous nous comportons envers nous-m\u00eame d\u00e9terminent pour une large part la qualit\u00e9 de notre vie.
